A way to save the pivot field selections as a template to recall later??

I'm finiding it annoying that I keep having to select the same fields over an over again for perticular types of pivot reports. Is there is a way I can save a base set of selected pivot fields and apply those to a new pivot report?

    Thanks!

You could create a named range on your data and then just refer to this named range for your new pivot table. You will still need to specify which fields are your rows and columns. Otherwise another shortcut is just to copy your pivot table and paste it to a new destination, it will then have the same combination for columns and rows.

    Thanks for your reply!

Have been trying those, they're inconvenient. I guess there isn't a direct way to do what I want.
