    I have found the following link (http://peltiertech.com/Excel/Charts/BarLineCombo.html) which has shown me how to create the chart I want, however I would like to increase the number of bars from 5 to 32 for my application. In doing so though I have noticed the alignment of the bars and lines becomes displaced when you go above 10 bars. Is there a way I can use this style chart with 32 bars? Thanks Ben

    Ben, check the numbering on the axes and on your Y series. I've seen it done with over 30 series, so chances are you have a small error.
