    Conditional formatting with diagonal border

I'm curious as to why this isn't supported in Excel? I can't see the logic behind not having this functionality. Oh well, I guess I just have to do it the vba way.

Interesting, I hadn't noticed that and can't think of a reason why it doesn't work. If you were looking to show something as no longer available, you could use a strikethrough effect

Re: Conditional formatting with diagonal border

Strikethrough not quite what I was looking for.. I have a total which can be either an integer or integer + 0,5. I also have a list of integers from 1 to 30. If total = 3,5 then I would like for the numbers 1 2 and 3 in the list to be formatted with both diagonal borders, and the number 4 to be formatted with just the one diagonal. The purpose is to visually display the total 3,5. But anyway, I fixed it with vba. I was going to suggest this for coming releases, but I see you have already moved it. Thanks!
