    Creating groups

    I´m a teacher at a school with 650 students. We want to create 15 different workshops. So the idea is that on our intranet, the students have to choose 4 workshops that could be interesting for them. We don´t know yet what is  easiest for us to administrate: prioritized choosing: 1 for most wanted, 2 for next and so on. Or just choosing 4 workshops in no order.  Only 1 workshop will be granted. Once that all the data has been imported to Excel , we have to find out how to go about grouping into the 15 workshops. The same student will appear 4 times in the spreadsheet, so when assigning a workshop, that student´s  name must  automatically be deleted in the other workshops.

    I hope I am making myself understandle about this . Can anyone help ?
