Command Formula help for Excel 2008 (mac version)

Hi, I am new to Excel 2008 for Mac and I remember that in the windows version of excel, one could press F5 after they clicked on a cell (when writing a formula) and percent signs would appear around the cell letter and number. This is absolutely crucial for dragging formulas. It may have something to do with my keyboard layout but any suggestions/tips would be very helpful, thanks!

Not familiar with Excel for the Mac, but in windows it's F4 not F5, F5 displays the Goto... box

If you look up keyboard shortcuts in help if it doesn't work with F4 you should get an answer

    post back if not

percent signs? sorry to mention but you're not looking for the absolute references, ie $A$1 If so, try: COMMAND-t In Excel 2004 for Mac that used to be the equivalent of F2 in Windows excel. Maybe it's not what you're looking for, just a try
