Selecting which grph to use when inserting an object

I have a workbook in which I want to place two different graphs (each on its own page, and created with the Graph Wizard) from a second workbook. How can I do this? Excel automatically places the same graph twice and if I switch the second graph to the one I want then the first one gets switched too.

    Here's how you do it:

     1) Open 2 workbooks.

    2) Name your workbook that has the chart data Chart Source.xls, then name your workbook that is going to have the charts in it Chart Dest.xls. Go back to Chart Source.xls, and let's assume your data is located in Sheet1. Create the first chart using the chart wizard and have it go into Sheet2 of Chart Source.xls, then create the second chart and have it go into Sheet3 of Chart Source.xls.

    3) Go to Chart Dest.xls, and delete Sheet3. Rename Sheet1 to PieDest, then rename Sheet2 to BarDest. Now, assuming you made a Pie chart that is in Sheet2 of Chart Source.xls, select the entire sheet by clicking on the grey square to the left of column A and above row 1, then Edit-Copy. Go to the PieDest worksheet of Chart Dest.xls, select cell reference A1, and press the Enter key on your keyboard, or Edit-Paste. Now, go back to your Chart Source.xls worksheet, and go to Sheet3, then edit-copy the entire sheet (assuming you've made a bar chart here), then go to the Chart Dest.xls workbook, then select the BarDest worksheet, go to cell reference A1, press the Enter key, or Edit-Paste.

    4) To prove it out, delete Sheet2 and Sheet3 in your Chart Source.xls workbook, save your Chart Source.xls workbook, then close it.

    5) Save your Chart Dest.xls workbook, then close it.

    6) When you open your Chart Dest.xls workbook, Excel will ask you if you want to update the links. If you've made content changes to Chart Source.xls, those changes will flow through when you open the Chart Dest.xls workbook.

    Tell me if this works.
