    It will look very close to what you want, it's just the actuals will be displayed against each 'type'. but what I think you seek is a pivot table. Use you data and put the Division no as a row field, FYNo as a row field the 'OPEN'/'NEW' Status field as a row field, the 'HIRED'...

Unfortunately, I have not been able to duplicate / crack the code for Excel 2008 Mac with your advice. It could be that I am missing something obvious...
